Gretna Middle School (GMS) held a pep rally on April 11 to motivate the students to do their best on their SOL tests! Hurt Elementary School brought their drumline and color guard to perform. After an incredible performance from the elementary school students, the GMS students and faculty engaged in games to underscore the importance of working together to achieve our goals. Games included Dress Your Teacher in Toilet Paper, Knockout, Shootout, and an Egg Race. The student team smoked the teachers in the egg race! After the cheerleaders pumped the crowd up in between games and dance breaks, Principal Carter Lowry was covered in silly string by five students! The pep rally was successful in encouraging Hawk Pride and preparing for our SOL tests!
