Monday Oct 1:
#BlueUp #StandUPAgainstBullying

All students and staff were encouraged to wear blue as GMS stood in unity against bullying! At each grade level lunch, students were given an opportunity to sign a Kindness Pledge. This Pledge encouraged all students to speak up or against any mean actions of others. Students were also given blue stickers to complement their blue shirts.

Wednesday Oct 10:
The Counseling Department with help from the Bible Club will be placing encouraging notes on each locker in the building. This will be done before school, so each student can enter the school inspired to be kind!

Week of Oct 22:
One of our 7th graders has started an acapella group. They are putting together a song that speaks out against bullying. They will perform this at each grade levels' lunch. 
​

Each Monday, we will continue to share information about being supportive and having positive peer relations. 

We are continuing to focus our efforts on being kind & respectful.
